After reading the last week’s article, I agree with the author’s idea that OER education needs more advancement and promotion so that the quality of education can go up while the price goes down. In the article, the author describes the 5Rs in detail and introduces a new concept of “renewable assignments”. I believe my professors did the same thing, and after reading and grading my essays, they forgot about them, which is what the authors call “disposable assignments”. The OER approach to education avoids this situation by making assignments that both support an individual student’s learning and result in new or improved open This not only allows the student to complete an individual assignment but also allows the assignment to have ongoing pedagogical significance in the subsequent years. And OER-enabled pedagogies result in the creation of supplementary learning resources designed to facilitate the learning of other students (Wiley, 2018). This will involve students in the editing of the course content as well, which will not only make the learning content better but will also make students more engaged and make them more interested in the course. The content they edit will also be available to future students, who will learn better and understand the content more easily because of the content edited by previous students.

If I were a teacher, I would prepare my course content based on these four questions in order to be able to engage my students in an OER-enabled pedagogy. course. Although it may be tricky at first, once it is done, it will give my students a lot of different learning resources and my course content will turn out to be better.

So in conclusion I would like to say that I support open education and look forward to its development, and I will be involved in making it better.
